Joe Miller Gets Substantial Jury Verdict for Woman Injured in Car Accident.

May, 2012, Portsmouth, Va. We obtained won a substantial Jury verdict, well in excess of the pre-trial offer from the insurance company, for a woman who suffered soft tissue injuries when she was hit by another car. Mr. Miller focused on the fact that our client’s physical injuries, though not permanent, did significantly interfere with her ability to care for her sick father just before his unfortunate death. Mr. Miller explained to the jury that our client’s feelings about the fact that she could not do everything she wanted for her father when he needed her most—-and the fact that she could never go back and fix that—-those feelings were permanent.
