The ABC affiliate WVEC 13 reported in early March, 2013 that an elderly driver lost control of a vehicle while coming around a curve in the road. The accident occurred near the 500 block of Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, and it happened just after four in the afternoon. The elderly driver hit a mailbox and then went on to hit a tree. The driver passed away at the hospital from the sustained injuries.
