WARNING: All of the information provided here is of a general nature only. The specific facts of your case may require a completely different answer. Do not base any decision with respect to your case solely on any of the answers found herein. Prior to making any decision with respect to your case, you should speak with a competent attorney who is familiar with the laws that relate to your case.

Should I get any information from witnesses? What kind of information?

Yes, if you or one of your passengers can take photographs with your cell phone or other camera of the position of the vehicles and damage not just to your vehicle, but to the other vehicle as well, this can often be very helpful. Although we will obtain photographs of the damage to your vehicle in the course of our representation of you, it is not always so easy for us to obtain photographs of the damage to the other vehicle. In some situations, these photographs can be absolutely crucial in aiding us in the proof relating to both damages and fault of the other driver.
