Attorney Joe Miller obtained a substantial settlement in dual cases for a former technician/mechanic who suffered separate injuries on two occasions, one to his arm and one to his knees. In the arm injury case, a drill bit seized up, causing nerve damage, and requiring surgery to the claimant’s right elbow. As to the knee, the claimant initially injured his left knee while missing a step as he descended a ladder. Over time, limping on the left knee and overuse of his good (right) knee caused issues in the right knee as well, and we were successful in obtaining compensation for the right knee issues as well. Arthroscopic surgery was performed on both knees, and a Functional Capacity Exam revealed that the injured worker would be unable to return to his pre-injury work.
