Joe Miller Obtains NC Workers Compensation Settlement for Welder After Obtaining Favorable Independent Medical Exam

Dare County, NC, June, 2014. Joe Miller negotiated a significant settlement for a 50-year old Marine Welder who suffered a lumbar disc injury for which he underwent surgery. There was some conflict was to the client’s future medical issues, so we exercised the client’s right to an Independent Medical Examination (IME) under NC Worker’s Compensation Law. This helped us reach a significant settlement for the client.
