An 84-year-old woman died recently due to injuries she sustained in a pedestrian accident in Norfolk on Friday, November 29.
Police stated that Omega Hill, a resident of the 1700 Block of Campostella Road, was crossing a road just near the intersection of Greenleaf Drive and Campostella road when she was hit by a car around 7 p.m. She was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital due to serious injuries, but was later pronounced dead.
Chris Amos of the Norfolk Police Department said in an interview that the result of the ongoing investigation will be handed over to the Commonwealth’s Attorney for any possible charges.
