According to the Charlotte Observer, a report from the National Council on Occupational Safety and Health indicates that the numbers of deaths that are occurring on the job in North Carolina is not the same number being reported. The North Carolina Department of Labor claims that only 35 on-the-job deaths happened on 2012, but the aforementioned council says that the number is actually more than three times that amount.
