Leslie Silvester Pope, 69, from Dove Street in Norfolk, was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Tuesday, November 12.
A spokesperson for the Norfolk Police Department said the man was hit after walking into the road at around 5:00 p.m. in the 800 block of East Little Creek Road. He was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but was said to be dead shortly afterwards.
The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office will decide whether to file charges following the result of the ongoing investigation.
