The Virginia Workers’ Compensation pays benefits to workers for wage loss, and medical benefits. These benefits do have a minimum and maximum that are allowed each year. The figures change each year. Note that as to the minimum, your actual wage must exceed the minimum in order to utilize that figure. If your actual average weekly wage is below the minimum, then that wage is used, with no reduction to 2/3rds of your average weekly wage. For instance, in the examples of the minimum below, if your average weekly wage was $300.00 per week, your TTD rate would not be reduced to $200.00. You would get the minimum.
On the other hand, if your actual wage was, for instance, $220.00 per week, then your TTD rate would simply remain $220.00 per week.
